Kef IQ5 Floorstanding speakers. These speakers are in excellent all round condition with no marks to the wood or drivers. But, please check the photos for a few tears to the speaker cloth. Unfortunately when I moved they were packed and came out with these tears.
They are a great compact floorstanding speaker delivering surprsingly punchy and tight bass. These are the nicer looking colour variant in maple which looks considerably more modern and will fit in nicely compared to the dated looking walnut versions. They come with 3 drivers and are bi-wireable. I'd prefer socially distanced pickup from SO18 Southampton if possible.
But, I can post. High order crossovers ensure seamless transitions between each driver, and with Uni-Q's remarkable off-axis dispersion characteristics, you get a speaker that's as easy to place as it is rewarding to hear - especially for enjoying the richness and complexity of modern digital formats. The KEF iQ5 is a superbly assertive performer for the modest size of its slender cabinet and outstanding value if you aspire to genuine audiophile standards of sound reproduction.
Condition: Used , Condition: Full working order. Everything is in very good condition expect for some small tears on the cloth. Very high amount of bids. Great seller with very good positive feedback and over 50 ratings.

I suspect the latter is just a crossover tweek in order to eek a few more sales out of an existing design before moving on to the next proper, upgrade of the Q series. The iQ5s are the newer version of the Q5s but have a smaller drive unit. The IQ5 was a true 3 way speaker with a bass driver and uni Q unit containing mid and high. There is plenty written about the improvements this apparently brought about.

Redesigned magnet structures. New, state-of-the-art voice coils. Higher specification components. More rigid chassis and cabinets. The result of all these innovations is plain to hear. Power handling and sensitivity are better than ever.
This loudspeaker has a very even and natural sound with excellent imaging that works well for hum. Speaker are quite large 64x34x24cm. Some signs of use wear, but overall good for age.

Speakers are by far the most "one man's meat is another's poison" part of a system and also the sound varies so much with the room they are used in that only your own ears can be the judge ; Not very helpful I know The Tannoys would be my choice like. Neve been a KEF fan. I always thought KEF drivers sounded better in other manufacturers designs.
