Posts: Guess what -- a clean HP 41CV is still gonna cost you about the same amount of money. Don't believe me, check out eBay. HP users and collectors are a hard core lot. Wish they weren't. I'd really like to replace an 11C that was stolen, but I just can't bring myself to spend almost twice what I paid for mine new for a clean replacement. They work just as well as the real thing. I do miss the tactile response, though.

For those who are struggling with a bridged TDA design, here a commercial product that works. I heard this speaker myself, and the low end was mind blowing. Recommendations for B&W 605 S2 speaker
After searching for neutral speakers, I came across these. I wanted something that would integrate well with my computer which has a tv card, as well as a very nice video card. They needed also to be excellent for 2 channel "pure" audio. I wanted good bass response, and clean extended highs. When auditioning these, I brought half a dozen cds and dominated the listening room for a good part of the day. The active bass was quite useful for room tuning.
