If the fan start spinning then your power supply is still working! Push the button and there are no beeps, no fans, no lights on the motherboard, nothing happens at all. In this case, since it stops I would put money on a failed pw supply. The configuration report will now print. This is a screenshot of an oscilloscope measuring ripple on a power supply that does not do a very good job of filtering. Computer powered off automatically and the Power LED flashes Red two times, once every second, followed by a two second pause, and the computer beeps two times.
