Read times. NC vs NC just the "facts". Emile Jr. Listening, be it biased or unbiased aside, why would the nc's sound better then the NC's. Prequel: I own a pair of Spectron amps, there's no question, they are in a different league when bridged in my system.
Enough for the differences in "sonic performance"? I'd be enclined to say no. I'd say a comparison between bridged NC's and single NC's is in order in both normal and low impedance speakers since I can clearly see the NC's outperforming single NC's per Spectron example. Ditto what Cab said. I am suggesting the increase in power is responsible. And then what would happen if you bridge NC's. Assuming that both amplifiers are operated without clipping the output, perhaps the difference in sonic performance that is being observed does not lie the the specifications alone.
These are, after all two different amplifiers, it is illogical to expect them to sound exactly the same. Apparently Mgalusha has measured several nc's and they are actually watts at 8 ohms so your numbers are low,probably for both amps.
Is the following true or false? Even with only the center channel changed, clean output levels remind me of AudioKinesis. I wonder if performance would audibly improve with even more current and voltage.

Regnad, The design and the parts used in the input stage determine to a large degree what you hear from an amplifier. UcD is already rather good and certainly adequate for practically any application. It would make no sense to rush out and flood the market with Ncore. So we're reserving Ncore for high end companies prepared to give it the profile it deserves.
The NC is the platform for that, so it isn't sold freely. I'm saying platform because we're offering customization. T he crew at Hypex has been making class D amps for a long time- lead designer Bruno Putzeys designed the "Universal Class D" topology at Phillips, and Hypex licenses it for use in their own products Phillips owns the patent. As time rolls on however, improvements have been identified and Hypex has released a new, higher-end variant on class D, designated "NCore". The UCD line is still active and Hypex has a variety of interesting plate amps, DSP, and other components with and without amplification attached, all very well engineered. My good friend decided that he wanted more oomph than his receiver was providing and because his speaker setup matched his space so nicely, he decided to go with an amplifier upgrade to achieve that. With a box of doughnuts in hand, he and our mutual partner in crime came around to my workstation The Ncore delivers up to W into 4 Ohms, though that is dependent upon the power supply. Amp/Preamp Asylum
There's been lots of talk about the class D Hypex NCore amps on the net. I have also heard they outstanding. The modules are relatively cheap but finished amps can be expensive. Would love to hear one. Makes sense. I don't think I've read any bad reports on how they sound.
Just I have a pair modified and a pair stock I have lived with the stock units along time now and I know there sound. I would say to the manufacturer put in place the modified pair and compare with the ear to the stock unit and tell us it sounds less musical, I know which will win for certain. I spoke earlier with supporters of Hypex to be advised leave perfection alone. Output coupling capacitor This sums it up well I think Audio is a form of AC which is amplified by the amplifier and finally fed in to the speaker. As the various stages of the amplifier are powered with DC it is mandatory to block the Dc and take the audio component for processing. And various capacitors are used to transfer the audio separated from DC.
