These fine pink salt crystals will add a burst of color and flavor to all your favorite dishes. A little goes a long way when garnishing with this crisp, crunchy seasoning. Sprinkle a pinch on steaks, salads and vegetables. The fine pink salt is also great for dipping the rim of your cocktail glass. The crisp, clean taste complements steak, grilled meats, eggs, salads, vegetables and more.

Quality through and through. And the extra control in the mid range is a great addition for acoustic bassists, especially gut string players. I have all the power and definition of my sound — live and in recording studio. Aguilar…sounds good!!! But great art is not only about sounding loud. Art is about sensitivity, pureness, expressionism and heart.
Warm and deep with clear, punchy midrange. Perfect highs for my style. No problem to destroy a stage or a studio. No matter what genre I play, my Aguilar rig cuts through the mix with great tone and a strong presence. Aguilar is the only amp company for me! When I think of bass sound, I think Aguilar.
I am a purist at heart and the tone needs to start at the amp. I was thankfully recommended the Tone Hammer and I have never looked back.
With the SLx, Aguilar have created the dream setup. My sound is always right with Aguilar on deck. This little amp is expressive, responsive, powerful and so user friendly. I take this amp with me everywhere, from the stage to the studio. It definitely gets the job done and then some! Thanks Guys!!!
Plug in any bass and it sounds great! Feel the power at any volume. That rig has the headroom yet the right amount if drive to cut through. Simply love it. Not only has the gear stood up to rigorous touring, but it sounds consistently great, gig after gig in every setting. I have used aguilar amps, cabs, d. In short Aguilar rules!!!
High quality, badass, ease on any size stage. They always deliver the full tone of my bass and I now struggle playing anything else! With that… I have everything. My FOH guy loves it almost as much as me.
Not only are the possibilities of tone seemingly endless, it tracks unbelievably clean. Heads definitely turn when I kick this puppy on! My Tone Hammer and SL cabinets cover it all! This rig gives me all the power I need and more, for both my double and electric basses.
It also sounds amazing with my electric bass by providing me with a deep warm bass tone while at the same time having a great punchy clear attack that allows me to cut through the sound of the band. Another thing that I absolutely love about this rig is that it is so incredibly light and easily portable; this is something that goes through my mind every time I pick it up! Lastly, it looks great too! The Tone Hammer and SL x combo allows my playing to cut through with clarity without losing the power and thump of the low end.
I love feeling the definition of the bass on stage and Aguilar gives me exactly that. From Caveman to the winner at Caan, it just helps me get any tone I need. I love the tonal shaping of the cabinets — the low end punchy and warm, the top end controlled and tasteful — and the flexibility and responsiveness of the amps.
Even at medium volumes I feel like I can just sit back and ride on the tone with plenty of power still in reserve. The Octamizer and Filter Twin are unquestionably the best pedals in their class and the overdrive on my AG burns its way right through a track.
As for construction — all the Ag gear is absolutely bulletproof. I can be aggressive, smooth, soulful, funky, whatever!! You want your sound to represent who you are, Aguilar amps and cabinets allow your character and personality to come out, Aguilar simply gives you the sound that you want! In large rooms or with loud bands, I can easily play like myself without needing to compromise on my tone, articulation, or musicality.
The amps are second to none and the cabinets are the perfect combination of modern sound and vintage growl. Combine all of that with the fact that products just look plain cool and you have an unbeatable product. They are invaluable to me and my career and I appreciate the company and their amazing customer service and attention to detail! My dream bass rig! For me, Aguilar is my top choice every-time and until the end of time!
No going back from here! I can change the character and shape of my sound easily and even the smallest EQ change can be heard. Aguilar brings another level of joy to add to my playtime follies!!! It is quick and responds to whatever I do in any style I play.
The GS and GS cabs handle everything from sweet highs to punchy lows and I can be heard all over the stage! I love that it is so light, and when paired with my DB and DB I can honestly say I have found the perfect bass amp. Thank you Aguilar! Whatever style may be called for in an arena, club, or studio, my sound is powerful, clear, and groovy.
They give me the sound I need, and never fail to deliver excellent tone night after night. Quite simply the best rig I have ever used! No matter the size of the club or concert hall, the result is excellent: it never happened with my previous amps and I can tell that I have tried many of them through years. In any venue with any band, my Aggie rig is an absolute necessity. Powerful, punchy and clean; I am so happy with the sound. From theater productions and jazz to straight-up NoLa funk, Aguilar delivers everything I want and then some!
In my opinion nothing comes close. Huge amount of power and headroom in a small package is just amazing and it makes me smile every time I play through my rig. The Tone Hammer has proven to be essential, and the distortion channel on the AG is unbeatable. To top it all off- the Aguilar team are a stellar and reliable collection of folks! Cut to and I now have the GS cab with the AG head which is ideal for most club settings — punchy and defined.
There is no venue or situation it cannot cover! Built like a tank and delivers a rich, complex sound without over colouring the tone of my bass. I use it exclusively in the studio as well for that round, warm valve tone.
The tone is clean, focused and beautifully detailed. Some require that heavy punch and others more warmth and tone. Even in recording studios, rehearsal, gigging in small or big halls, it has always a perfect efficiency with its warm and powerful tone. The polyvalence of the heads and cabinets is optimal for raw distorted sound and also for a sweet fretless timber, which are mainly my fields. Aguilar not only does this, but it does it masterfully! I can always just plug right in and get a great sound.
Aguilar allows me to focus on the music. With its high design standard, it grants me access to an effective yet simple EQ section, with great dynamic range. Both gives me exactly the tone and feel that I want to hear. Aguilar just nailed that combination with the AG and the SL x. Responsive minimalist controls, incredible tone sculpting at low or higher volume…. All dressed up in the most handsome package in the business.
No gimmicks, just the true sound of my axe and me. The pickups and the pedals have become welcome additions to my sound. From funk to fusion to prog metal to jazz to electronic music, Aguilar is as versatile as I am. The sound of Aguilar fits in every kind of music that I play. For a deep thump and punch with clarity and taste…Aguilar hits my spot! The amps are simple to use and sound exactly the way I want with a fat, pure tone that allows the instruments to tell their story.
The cabinets are like melted butter, perfect in any combination for any situation. And the pedals are the cherry on top with far reaching and intuitive tone shaping capabilities. Simply put, Aguilar understands the needs of bass players like no other. World class gear. The only choice for me. It gives me everything I need to cover all genres.

An effects unit or effects pedal is an electronic device that alters the sound of a musical instrument or other audio source through audio signal processing. Most modern effects use solid-state electronics or digital signal processors. Some effects, particularly older ones such as Leslie speakers and spring reverbs , use mechanical components or vacuum tubes. Effects are often used as stompboxes , typically placed on the floor and controlled with footswitches. They may also be built into guitar amplifiers , instruments such as the Hammond B-3 organ , tabletop units designed for DJs and record producers, and rackmounts , and are widely used as audio plug-ins in such common formats as VST , AAX , and AU. Musicians, audio engineers and record producers use effects units during live performances or in the studio, typically with electric guitar, bass guitar, electronic keyboard or electric piano. While effects are most frequently used with electric or electronic instruments , they can be used with any audio source, such as acoustic instruments, drums, and vocals. An effects unit is also called an "effect box", "effects device", "effects processor" or simply an "effect".

In the age of the internet and, certainly, even long before it, questionable anecdotes about popular figures have been getting passed around and mangled habitually in a bad game of cultural telephone. For as many urban legends that start from a kernel of truth or even a half-truth, some of the best myths in our collective hive mind have sprung from—well, total bullshit. That doesn't mean they can't be fun to re-tell, or that it isn't useful to try and figure out what the actual truth is. Over the years, a number of out-of-this-world urban legends have sprung up in guitar culture, centered around some of the biggest musical figures of our time.

An effects unit or pedal is an electronic or digital device that alters how a musical instrument or other audio source sounds. Some effects subtly "color" a sound, such as a reverb unit used on a low setting, while others transform it dramatically, such as a distortion pedal set to its maximum level. Musicians use effects units during live performances or in the studio , typically with electric guitar , electronic keyboard , electric piano or electric bass.
Providing a general definition of flatpicking right up front will not only give you an opportunity to know what is meant when I use the term, but it will also give me a starting place from which your understanding of flatpicking will grow. Over the past fifty years the art of flatpicking has steadily changed due to the addition of new techniques and an expansion of the style beyond its traditional roots and boundaries. In order to adequately study the changes we must first have a starting definition. Another element to add to our basic definition of flatpicking, for the purposes of this book, would be to limit its application to the acoustic steel-string flat-top guitar.
