After so many years of teaching guitar, this is actually one of the guitars I consistently recommend to my students. I know buying a guitar can be hard. I assure you, finding a guitar is not going to be as hard as you think. It has a small body style and thin fingerboard, making it easy to carry around and travel with. It uses a new scalloped bracing design developed recently by Yamaha to help players produce a more natural sound. Yamaha has been creating quality instruments since , when the founder made his very first organ. Their number one priority is making excellent instruments that musicians love. The FS series focuses on making sure the guitar is playable and durable, especially for new players.

What makes an acoustic guitar easy to play? What makes an acoustic guitar difficult to handle? Not all guitars are made equal, and while there are factors that come down to personal preference, there are some guidelines as to what can enhance or deter a playing experience. Then, we are going to discuss some of the nitty-gritty variables that affect the playability of an acoustic guitar: string action, neck width, neck profile, scale length, and difference between steel strings and nylon strings. Yamaha FS800 Review [2021 Updated]
The compact concert-style FS body is 10mm slimmer than the larger dreadnought-style FG body, providing increased comfort with no loss of volume or bass. Well suited for solo performance or playing with a full band, the FS utilizes a newly developed scalloped bracing design, which results in a powerful and balanced acoustic sound with stronger lows and mids than its predecessors. The FS features a nato neck with a smooth matte finish for ease in playing and is equipped with a set of chrome die-cast tuners on the headstock. The fingerboard and bridge are both made of rosewood, while the nut and saddle are made from urea. Additional features include black ABS bridge pins to secure the strings, black body binding, white and black soundhole inlay, and a tortoise-patterned pickguard. The FS ships with a Hex wrench. Your instrument is your baby and you wouldn't want anything happening to it, right?
