May out perform your door speakers!!!! These replaced my stock dash speakers in my Ram Crewcab. They literally out performed my stock 6x9s except for bass the minds and highs were so clear and loud I couldn't hear my door speakers without adjusting the fade drastically.
The sound was outstanding compared to my stock speakers. Here's the downfall. The infinity 3. Still having to use a lot of fade to hear the door speakers. Going to replace the door speakers again using the Infinity Referrence 6x9 3 way door speaker.
Hoping that will even the sound level out without too much fade. By far the Infinity Refference 3. So clear and even adds a little bit of bass. Oddly enough these 3. I cant wait to purchase 2 sets of the infinity reference IX to throw in the front and back doors.
If they are as much of an upgrade as these 3. They might arrive quicker and if they do, I'll probably be disappointed in the lazy shipping info from the seller but I couldn't wait a week for the harness so I installed them the hard way. I cut the factory connectors off of the wires on the truck, spliced an additional inches of wire onto the factory wires and installed a connection on each wire that would work for the speaker.
Then I plugged it to the back of the speaker and tested the radio.
