He was trained as a studio camera operator before expanding into graphics operation, and audio. He often enjoyed taking his son and grandchildren into the studios to meet the co-workers, newscasters, and meteorologists that he held in such high regard.
Being unable to put his passions aside, he continued with projects such as Under the Hood Entertainment, Wright Amps, and Wright Innovations where he continued to work with, amplify, and represent performing musicians. He specialized in guitar tube amplifier repair, building, and modification.
