JBL CONTROL 28-1-WH LOUDSPEAKER Surface mount, 240W/8 ohms, 60W/70/100V, white, pair
These speakers are intended for permanent installation. Enclosures are moulded from high-impact polystyrene, lightly textured, ready for painting when decor matching. High frequency drivers offer horn-tailored directivity and the compact dimensions and adjustable mounts supplied help the installer to place the full-range cabinets unobtrusively, with the easily-placed sub-bass unit available, for low-distortion low-band output. Connection is by screw down terminal strip. Note that while some of the products are splash-proof, they are not claimed to be totally weather proof. The sub-bass unit is not intended for outdoor use. The shaft consists of a short steel rod with a ball at one end, and threaded at the other. This fits to a wall-mounting plate, which must be fastened to a suitable surface or one of the accessory products, prior to fitting the speaker.

Integrated M6 mounting points for an optional U-bracket adds to the installation versatility. The light weight high temperature fiberglass voice coil former and high temperature voice coil wire ensures stable performance under longterm high-power working conditions while also providing high sensitivity and high power capability. Cone geometry is optimized for smooth frequency response and good off-axis performance , while an FEAoptimized motor construction and linear suspension spider helps to lower harmonic distortion.
