I have a really well kept and clean Yorkville Audiopro powered mixer 12 channels watts per side with audiopro zipper carry case and a pair of matched Yamaha A12's also in nice shape with custom vinyl covers when not in use Great sounding system. They all sound great together! The NX55P active speaker enclosure uses a combination of amplifier technologies to create the best combination of lightweight enclosure and high quality sound.
Totally new switching power supply amplification and neodymium drivers, the watt bi-amp. These have been well taken care of and upgraded with Electro-Voice 12" woofers. There are also two tweeters per cabinet. The speakers are in excellent condition and you can hear them before you buy. Great for a single, duo and DJ too.
Due to the upgraded EV's they put out more sound than most stick speakers. These are a pair of Yorkville Performance Series wedge shaped stage speakers in great condition.

The 1 sounds damn good though. Made in Canada not china for superior quality. Like brand new. Only problem is you have to use a speakon cable to connect Left speaker out to speaker. I need a powered speaker for a variety of applications. Most of the time it will be used as a stage monitor. I play acoustic guitar and sing in a 4-piece band that plays everything from country to punk. We've gotten pretty decent about limiting our stage volume. We have a sound man with a huge FOH system. However, from time to time I'd like to use this thing for a 1-man acoustic gig, and it could end up as an acoustic guitar amp every now and then. Any thoughts or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

I'm on record somewhere on the forum here talking about the incredible virtues of using the Yorkville YX10P with Helix - I've been doing so for a good while now, and they're outstanding. Though I haven't tried the NX25P, I'd like to think that my personal experiences with one of its related products might bode well for this one. No doubt, that is crazy cheap.
The NX25P-2 is Yorkvilles solution to the musician or mobile disc jockey that needs a high quality powered speaker, but doesn't need one that weighs in with a thousand watts of output power. Don't let the low price fool you, this is a very capable active speaker. With watts of onboard power, this little speaker can churn out a maximum sound pressure level of decibels. If you like to gig-and-go, the weight of this pro audio speaker comes in at only 45 pounds!
