Piero Braglia born 10 January is an Italian football manager and former player. He is the manager of Avellino. A midfielder , Braglia started his professional career with Serie C team Montevarchi , then making his debut in the Serie A in with Fiorentina. He then spent six seasons with Catanzaro , five of them being in the Italian top flight. He then retired in after spells with Serie B teams Triestina and Catania. In Braglia accepted his first managerial job, at the helm of amateur Tuscan team Bibbienese. He then coached a number of Tuscan teams in the lower ranks of Italian football with some success, including a Serie C2 title with Montevarchi in In , he accepted his first coaching job outside of Tuscany, becoming head coach of Foggia in the Serie C2, obtaining a fourth place in the final table. The stadium was first named after Cesare Marzari, an ex-player who had died in the African War, but was renamed after the Second World War in honour of three-time Olympic gold medal winner Alberto Braglia, child of the city. Hardly any changes were made to the stadium until the turn of the millennium when an extensive redevelopment program was presented. Works started with the rebuilding of one of the ends, followed by the removal of the running tracks, the construction of additional rows of seating closer to the pitch, and the renovation of the other three stands.
