I can use the timers, so, how should I go about making the 3 signals degrees out of phase off each oter? You need to have three PWM channels and the values of the compare registers obtained from the sine table should be in intervals such that the sine waves are degrees apart.
Refer to AVR for sine wave generation. How about generate one sin wave and use a couple of state variable opamp all pass filters set to degrees to generate the other two? I cant seem to run any of the software application notes from atmel. They are based on an earlier version of the IAR compiler.
But they might not be regular members of this forum. It should be pretty straightforward to port and run IAR projects. I have ported most of the app notes to Codevision and GCC. I have never even looked at the Motor app notes. If the algorithms fit in the 4kB IAR size limit, you can do the real life testing of both source trees.
I used one for awhile until I blew it into a heretofore unknown dimension I use avr-gcc so I just went through the IAR source code and made edits as needed for compatibility. My background is Electrical Engineering. There is very little programming content on the degree and although I done a significant amount of study on this field I am not at the level that allows me to port code that easily.
I wrote a report last year when I handed in my final project considerations, detailing a closed loop slip control regulation and described a lot of improvements that I would plan to do and now what I need to do is build the thing and verify the claims.
