Wow, this room is fantastic! Who made the door for you? Great attention to detail everywhere. Really Impressive work! Hanging it is tough. This one has a triple-stud anchor along the left side. The hinge work has seven points of articulation to account for any sagging, although THIS door was kept in dry storage for three years before we hung it, so there was actually very little sagging.

Did you use regular wooden studs, or steel ones? Is that hinge just two pieces, or several? No problem. There are 14 lag bolts going into the wood through the plaster and wall covering. Two pair hold the top and bottom plates in place that extend out and connect with the door. The larger flat plate runs the length of the assembly. We machined out the pins for the hinges on the day we hung it.

They are large pins, half-inch, bolted through the top and bottom and held in place with large washers. Does this make sense?
