I bought the Nutube, pcb, and jfets. It took me a while to get to the project, and I made one modification. I wanted 3 inputs to match my system. I also made my own Chassis out of an old chunk of African Mahogany that I had for the past 10 years. After my usual novice mistakes, it is up and running. It is a huge improvement over the Bottlehead Quickie I had been running for the past 10 years.
The Nutube works very well with either CDs or vinyl. It is like a couple of heavy quilts were removed from my speakers and I can hear everything so much more clearly now. Sadly, my DIY stereo is done. I will ad a pic soon.
After still being very impressed with my first ACA amp I have built a second one, to be given to my brother. I am amazed at the bass response for such a low powered amp and I also find the treble so sweet and not fatiguing.
This is the best amp chassis for a newbie DIYer, and it is also excellent for an experienced one since it offers a lot of possibilities for extension.

Later, Grover. I grabbed a matched quad of the LSK's for use in a cloudlifter-type circuit and they worked great! Low noise as expected. The P. Board quality is outstanding. And diyAudio staff are patient, and helpful. I had to order twice, because the first time I kept making errors entering my own address!. Staff helped me get past these errors, and on to a new order. Boards arrived very quickly, and in perfect shape because of the care taken in packaging.
