Formerly YB Congrats, indeed. My favorite McIntosh stereo amp. Once you've gotten it broken-in you can roll in some better tubes GL KT88, etc. What does the rest of your system consist of? Congratulations, I have one of those beautiful amps, it has Chinese tubes but sound better than GG edition one with pitted chrome and point to point wiring Besides having more output than GG Edition. This sixth generation MC has many subtle enhancements from the previous release that greatly improve performance. Combined with the widest bandwidth McIntosh output transformer design, the MC features tauter bass control and thermally quiet circuit design. The result is pure music. The seven small tubes are LED illuminated to indicate the amplifiers functional status: upon power up, they sequentially glow amber for a few seconds and then all turn green to signify system readiness. In the rare case of an output tube failure, the small tubes in front of it will turn red to notify you of the problem. Power Control is used to remotely control tube illumination from a McIntosh preamplifier.

McIntosh MC275 2-Channel Tube Amplifier - Version VI
Together with Stereo Exchange. Condition is very good to excellent all around. The transformers don't have any of the typical scratches, and the chrome is super clean but some of the stenciled writing has come off the chassis. Otherwise as clean as you'll find.

It is quite rarely that I go looking for such information as I can usually find it on my own, but I'm stumped. I'm in need of the correct service information hopefully schematic , but at the very minimum, the internal fuse rating, for a very early McIntosh MC This is the first version, but I seem to have an early revision as the earliest schematics I can find omit the fuse I speak of which appears in the HT circuit just prior to the bridge rectifier.
