Karena meliputi semua aspek kehidupan masyarakat, maka dibutuhkan peran serta semua mitra untuk bergotong royong, dan keterlibatan seluruh lintas sektor terkait hukumnya wajib.

Keterlibatan lintas sektor akan semakin nyata apabila ada rencana kerja yang disusun sebelum Desa menyusun RKP Desa. BKKBN bertanggung jawab untuk meningkatkan peran keluarga dalam mewujudkan revolusi mental. Lebih lanjut disebutkan bahwa ada 11 kriteria kampung KB, yaitu : 1. Ada PLKB; 2. Hrs ada bidan desa; 3. Adanya Pokja kp KB 5. Adanya rencana kerja; 7. Ada Poktan yg berjalan; 8. Adanya sumber dana yg jelas; 9.

Adanya akses pendidikan; Adanya akses Pelayanan kesehatan; Adanya minimal 5 sektor yg aktif. Sementara itu, Kepala Desa Lenek Kalibambang dalam sambutannya menyatakan bahwa pembentukan kampung KB telah memberikan peningkatan aktivitas dan peran kader serta masyarakat dalam program pembangunan umumnya dan program KB khususnya.
