Topping tp22 speakers for ipod
Never heard anything like it, and it made music unlistenable. Apparently it's a known issue, and the fixes are nebulous at best, so back it goes. Decided to stick with my SMSL 98e. This amp is very heavy and seems well-built, and does a good job with its limited connections. Turned it on one day and got the flashing blue light, no idea why Installed new fuse- Works again!!

You shan't be able to hit high on the volume levels, the speakers being of 6 ohms and 85 dB sensitivity.
Ideal specs of speakers with T amps need be 8 ohms and minimum 89 dB higher the better. Not that, these speakers won't perform. They would, but distortion would set in at higher volumes. It is better to go with the desired speaker specs with T amps.

Joined Feb 23, Messages 2, Points Location jaipur , hyderabad. My source is Audio Technica TT. I ditched the stock power supply that came with the Lepai and replaced with a 12V 4A power supply. I own the Topping TPMark2 and it has performed well for me. The first thing I did was to ditch the wall wart and go with a 12VDC battery which improved the overall sound quality substantially.
I have used this nice little amp with 3 different sets of speakers, each with nice results. All three variations sounded wonderful with the backloaded horns producing some beautiful bass. The key them here is that I used speakers rated 89dB or above. I have attached photos of the two custom speakers; you can find the Wavetouch site with Google.

Can you recommend me models and places to look - or pm me if you would prefer. Main use will be in 10x10 room as desktop speakers. Even though it is a low watter, it drives my Klipsch very well. What amazes me is the presence of the blackest background with very clear high, mids and well defined lows. You definitely need to use high sensitivity speakers with them. I feel they are an ideal alternative to SET amps as they are very power efficient and run cool even after hours of listening. Can someone please provide me the link to buy this amp.

The SA50 should have the notoriety that's bestowed on the Lepai. It's four times the power and higher quality. I'm an audio engineer who has had time off from mixing and mastering in studios on two continents and so playing with cheap digital amps is my entertainment. I know, "Get a life". Just take a glance at the pictures above for reference with the power supply and you'll see the connectors also. Here's a Connector for that. Please don't ask me why a guy with over a mil in audio gear is doing this or I'll divorce you too. I need to quit stressing over mixes if this is what the public listens to just kidding. All I expect is accurate reproduction and I don't understand all these descriptive words used in reviews. Audio is science, not art and reproduction starts at the microphone not your stereo.
