Hello, Could anyone recommend as a good book to take out on speaker building, especially one that will take me up to the more elaborate designs such as the one on this site? I'm keen to learn of why we make the speakers in such shapes. I am a physicist so I'm guessing I have some of the basic concepts sorted but with regards to speaker building and design I am completely new.
I have access to every single book published since Who has access to Every book? Every oxford student, cambridge student also the london library also has the same collection of books im not sure who has access to that basically, there was a law passed i think in saying every time a book or something is published, these three libraries have to be given atleast one copy each. Is it done in practise,or is it just one of those laws like 'a pregnant woman in wales is allowed to pee in policemans helmet' etc.
Let me know how you get on. How are you with partial differential equations? Cool, because when you understand the wave equation, you can properly understand where all the models etc are derived from. I understand enough to follow the flow of logic when I'm reading these texts, but am not that great with actually manipulating numbers myself using the maths.
