Popped in to grab a Kenwood DMXS head unit, which is virtually impossible to find right now with all of the supply chain and microprocessor shortage stuff going on. Got a killer price without even having to haggle. Many other shops in the area have been out of stock for months, and the same is true for most of the major online retailers such as Crutchfield and Abt.
If you are in the middle of an install and looking to score that last piece of the puzzle, stop by or give them a call! Great Place.

I walked into this place on a Saturday afternoon to get a head unit installed in my truck. They were able to fit me right in despite the other work they had going on. James did my install and that guy is razor sharp. Really knows his stuff and he had me going in just over an hour. The install looks great and it sounds even better.

I took my car to this shop to figure out why my W max, W continuous subs were not hitting as hard as they should be.
I wanted make sure my wiring was correct, my amp settings were correct and to see if I was missing anything. One of their guys checked everything and said it all looked good except for my subwoofer enclosure. He said with the power that Im utilizing Im going to blow my enclosure to pieces.
I asked if they sell enclosures and they guy said they would have to custom build one. Within a couple weeks the new enclosure was installed, I went to pick up my car and test out the sound.
The bass did not get any better, i did notice a little better range of low frequencies but the subs were not playing a full or best potential. The guy who installed the enclosure said give it a couple weeks and let it break in. About 3 weeks to a month goes by and its not sounding any better.
I end up meeting a car audio guy who does mobile work who also builds enclosures himself and I had him look at my setup and within seconds he s like your port is way too small, the enclosure is built for 12s but it looks like you port is built for 10s mind you no measurements were taken, it was a guess at that moment.
I ended up asking him if he could build me an enclosure which he agreed. Now the recommendations for my subs enclosure are the port area is The port area is the issue, the equation for area is height x width, inside to inside for the port is I was told no refunds on custom built enclosures but they could build one based off the enclosure Im using now. I was told they would contact the manufacturer to verify the recommendations and get back to me.
I left 2 or 3 messages for the owner to call me I had to go up to the shop just to be told theres nothing wrong with their enclosure and that it is built per the manufacturers recommendations when clearly the math doesnt add up. This moving of the goal post over the recommendations was the last straw. See the pics, one on the left is my current one and the one on the right is theres.

Always very knowledgeable about their products in inventory. I had an issue with my Viper Alarm System and they were able to solve it in a matter of minutes, taking the time to troubleshoot the possible issues and explaining it to me in a language i could understand.

They were able to repair my 85 vette delco Bose radio sweet nice to find a shop that can do that next repair a speaker. Real top rate business! Went in, explained what we wanted, got a solution and parts ordered for next day installation in less than 10 minutes. Install took 2 hours as stated in quote. Sounds great, looks great, and all for a great price! Dont let looks fool you, this place delivers where it matters! These guys are great!
They quoted me much less than 5 star rip off and got me in for an appointment the next day. They did a professional job with my system and gave me a reasonable quote. I would recommend them to all my friends. Great Staff! If your looking for a clean install that sounds amazing! Even set me up with a dash cam! I had a couple of things done to my car here.
First, I had Allen install a head unit for me. This seems pretty straight forward, but when the previous owner of your used C literally rips the old head unit, it would discourage a lot of people from trying to fix it. Allen was able to get a new head unit in my dash and did so professionally in spite of the absence of some clips for the radio bezel and mounting points for the actual head unit.
This was quoted at an unbeatable price as well. Next, I had a Viper security system installed. All of which work perfectly. Allen even went the distance to tuck the wiring for the security system so it wasnt blatantly visible when looking at the engine compartment or at the dash. Allen knows what hes doing and the best part is that they do more than just sound systems.
I might see about having him take a look at my headlight wiring next. I have recommended this place a few times and I will continue to do so. Honest service and great work quality. Kevin and James were great. I felt the prices for the installation and radio were great. I really like how James took his time and showed me how to work the radio before I left. I will definitely come back if I need another upgrade! Thanks Guys. They have always delivered a quality product and installation that has exceeded my expectations.
I will be a customer for life. Giving anyone 5 stars is rare for me. Allen and his crew gave me a tremendous value for an aftermarket radio. Thank you. After a flyby night attempt at installing a 7-inch monitor in my Lexus and causing a blown fuse, I called these guys and they had me in and out of the shop in less than an hour and charged a fair rate for the work.
Guys were super personable and did excellent work, I would recommend anyone looking to do car audio to use Radioactive for your install!
