Sound quality can be significantly changed and I believe improved by resting the speaker on a simple plate display stand so the speaker is sitting almost upright. Although sounding more conventional when positioned this way, the sound is quite markedly improved and the quality of reproduction more enjoyable. This is really a beautiful sounding little speaker.
