I wish to use my Superhub 3 in modem mode, to facilitate the installation of an Eero mesh network. In its current router mode, I have a desktop PC and a Hive hub hardwired to the Superhub using two of the four Ethernet ports. I have been told that in modem mode, only one of the four Ethernet ports on the Superhub will be available if correct, which one and I will obviously need this port to hardwire the Eero gateway unit to the Superhub. Is it not possible to continue to use the remaining Ethernet ports on the Superhub when it's in modem mode to continue to hardwire other devices? Otherwise, I presume that I will have to connect the desktop PC and Hive hub to the available Ethernet port on the Eero gateway unit through an Ethernet switch, which seems rather messy.

The past week I spent 2 hour with great customer care of Sonos to reconfigure my system on the new mesh network with eero system. Eero does not allow to split between 2. After 1 day the configuration seems lost and i cannot see the devices in the app while I'm connected to eero. Instead I can see them if I switch back to the old wifi network. Pls halo to fix!

A few months ago I wrote about why I decided to go with the Eero extenders for WiFi at home and went over some of the technical specs of the Eero mesh router pack. In this post I am going to go through a little bit about the setup and then dive straight into some comparisons with my previous WiFi Router which will show you how much of an improvement I got from my existing WiFi enabled Router. Amazon has debuted the Eero 6 and the Eero Pro 6 mesh WiFi routers, along with the Eero 6 extender, that support WiFi 6 and have a built-in Zigbee hub which is desirable for smart home tech connectivity. The Eero Pro 6 improves on its predecessor… would have been interesting to compare the in house differences between the Eero standard, Pro and now the WiFi 6 versions… but bang for buck the Eero Mesh now comes in at even better value!
