Thread starter matttornado Start date Jun 6, Messages Anyone have or try it yet? If so, what are you thoughts? What amp s did you try it with? The thing is: Do you have to use it with a clean amp to get the fender tone? I wonder how it sounds in front of an old cranked marshall Messages 2, I have it and there are some great uses for it. First its a great pedal to take to a jam session if you have to use someone else's amp.
You have your clipping and reverb setting ready to go, just plug it into a clean amp. The tremelo is a nice touch for the one or two songs most guitarists might use it in a night. It works as a great little OD pedal on the light side. Messages 1, I tried it and returned it. Just really didn't like the tone at all and didn't think it got close to a true Deluxe sound.
I found The Bassman pedal, on the other hand, to be amazing to my ears. I'll likely be performing at an awards show this fall and they usually have a couple of Twins on stage so this pedal will be perfect for that setting. I have been running the pedal into a Vox ac and the pedal does a great job of overdriving the front end. Very musical. Don't let the cork sniffers sway you, no it won't replace your Fender Deluxe but it is a great tool non-the-less.

By mikejungle , June 14, in Effects and Processors. I really want the fender reverb sound but i have no money to buy a real amp. I posted a thread earlier that i wanted sort of the SRV on "Lenny" sound. It's so purty. Unfortunately, I don't really have much more knowledge on the subject.
I've wanted a a Fender Deluxe Reverbe amp for years but never got one because, being 22 watts, they're just too loud for my living room when cranked hard enough for good overdriven tone. I'd always wished Fender would come out with a ten watt version of the Deluxe Reverbe, but fat chance right? Enter this EFX pedal from Boss.
It is a pity, that now I can not express - I am late for a meeting. I will return - I will necessarily express the opinion on this question.
I'm sorry, but I think you are wrong. I propose to discuss it.
