The builder has done a good job, apart from using a DIN plug to feed them and very thin screened cable to connect everything. I will replace the cable with some reasonable two core I have in stock. The builder had glued and screwed everything together with no way in so I had to remove the base of one to get in. I've been into American speakers for a while, JBL, Acoustic Research, Altec, Urei etc but my boss, who took me to the hifiwigwam event earlier this year, is always going on about the British stuff so I had been on the look out for some Kefs. I cant believe what I've been missing all these years! The American stuff definitely has the power and oomph but these Kefs are incredible, I really really like them. I swapped them out for my AR3as and now I think they will end up in the bedroom! The seller then decided to build transmission line cabs and moved the components into the new cabs some years ago.
