Denon 4200 little
My TV itself is not 4K, it only supports p which is fine for my needs right now. I'm able to get the picture and the sound from the TV. I can hear the sound coming from the speakers but no picture at all. On the PVR, the video output is set to p not 4K resolution.

In addition, it supports 4k 60Hz Not sure about HDR tho. My current Denon sw has the same 4k spec and works perfectly. And you know what?
I bought the sw at best buy for during a sale. This B-stock xw is only dollars more. Had I knew this website, I will never pay that much for a sw PS: it's a pity that x is sold out.
It looks pretty refurbished Not even as good as a well preserved 2nd hand receiver. No original box included. Everything is working fine. Not sure how much distortion there will be with these many dusts inside. Had I knew the condition of this refurbish, I would rather buy a good second hand - which is probably gonna be cheaper as well.. Last edited by JS on Feb 13th, pm, edited 2 times in total.
I purchased the refurb xW over a year ago about same price , and agree the refurb models from Gibby's are fantastic and it has 1 -year manufacturers warranty too. Looked brand new when I took mine out of the box. I keep waiting for my Integra DTC 9. Thanks in advance. If you need a receiver now, buy a S and hold out for a refurb X Then pair them together for 7. This is still a good deal, try finding it for anywhere else I tried to actually buy the December deal but there was never any stock in Ontario.
Then pair them together for I meant 11ch which is 7. Sorry to lead anyone on with that. This is a good price for refurbished, but Denon quality has gone down in recent years. The display on my Denon SW burned out twice during the 2 year warranty period. Both times due to a faulty capacitor. Very common problem for Denon owners. After the second repair, I sold the Denon and now have Yamaha in the media room. Very happy with the Yamaha sound. Trinnov to go beyond 7. Be careful with Gibby refurbs.
Couldn't even display p properly. All the other ports worked fine with the same cables and same devices. Be sure to test every port and setting carefully. Got a replacement and that worked fine. However, given that it came with some third party generic power cable and not the original, it seems that they don't necessarily always fully check these refurbs bad port or replace all missing accessories with all OEM parts. I purchased a Denon W from them couple months ago and was told at the time that the warranty included a 30 day free replacement.
After 3 weeks I had a problem with a popping sound and called the tech support and they told me to send it in for warranty in Scarborough. I mentioned about the 30 day free replacement and was told they didn't know anything about it. Next day I was online in Gibby's web site looking for the print that talked about this warranty and ended up in an online chat which didn't end well as they didn't want to honor the 30 day warranty replacement. I then asked to speak to the owner after I found it in print and in the end I got the replacement and also purchased extended warranty which I wouldn't have if it was a first line unit.
When I sent Gibby's a "thank you" in the end, I never received a reply of acknowledgement so I figure I may have pissed someone off. Not sure if I would purchase a B Stock from them again, but the unit does look new in the original box.
Don't do it. Spend a bit more and get a nother MRX. ARC destroys Audyssey. You'll hear a noticeable downgrade. Last edited by hugs29 on Feb 15th, am, edited 1 time in total.

But reading up on the multiple issues with this unit has me concerned. All 7 channels of equal watt power 0. Onkyo X9. Post Number: 2. I haven't heard the new Yamaha, but as a rule they usually edge out a similar priced Denon in sound quality especially music The Yamaha offers Front Effects speakers, which can be very cool! Plus it will come closer to its rated power.
