Roger lowther speakers

By flyfisher , November 16, in 2 Channel. I recently bought a pair of old ply Lowther Acousta cabinets without speakers , as I have always wanted to try the single driver. Having spoken to Lowther, they suggested that DX3 would be the best units, but I should do the following modifications to the cabinets. Replace the internal wiring. Place the original acoustic fabric on the grill cover.

Too often we are blind to what is happening in the world and even in our own communities. When we recognize how others are transforming ideas into influential action, we begin to alter our own perceptions. New avenues are exposed in service, innovation, creative endeavors, and elsewhere. Gaps between disparities are bridged. Barriers are broken. Voices are heard.

By flyfisher , November 16, in 2 Channel. Very fair comment Roger, and the Lowther lady obviously must know her stuff. I guess the cabs dictate to a large extent the best choice of driver, but as the 3 and 4 have broadly similar specs it would be interesting why the 3 was picked out over the 4. I still have some Super Acousta's twin driver enclosures, my first Lowther experience, they had PM6C's went into storage at my parents ages ago resurrected and Well the rest is history realised the cabs were hindering the driver, they're not really any good IMO,no bass. Concur regarding AER drivers , whilst no less expencive an alternative to the Lowther's the AER's I have heard seem to possess all the positive elements that make this type of driver so viceral yet always seem to remain a little more composed where Lowthers can at times dance too close the edge imho. I have the standard single plywood Acousta cabinet, which should be OK.
