Posted by Scholl i on June 27, at I'm kicking around my next project, a push pull amp, and I need a phase splitter. Interstage transformers are too hard to make and expensive. Autoformers are inexpensive but go to crap just above 20khz. The small Edcor 10KK requires an extra stage with low Zout. I'd like to keep the design to two stages with no NFB maybe impossible. Is a differential amp with one leg fed a little off the other considered a two stage design or possitive feed forward? I know Thorsten had a nice design with a and 6S4A, has anyone built it?
