The Logitech sub woofer is so much better, no other 5. I was comparing the Panasonic and Logitech system with movies and games running on my PS3 connect with an optical cable and i prefer the Logitech speakers because the overall sound is better, the speakers sound a bit less crisp but not much, not worth the extra money because the Z has even better functions, it has both optical and coax input and you can even make all 5 speakers play in video formats or movies which don't support the 5.

I also have to say that the Logitech are far more impressive for games and music then the Panasonic SC-PTEB, Panasonic sound good only for movies and even there the bass is strange and not even a bit as clear and powerfull as the one from Z About the space in your room, well you can put the logitech speakers at the wall so the only thing you will need space for is the woofer which really is pretty big. I wouldn't know that, but it's hardly better, i bet it's not as strong because all this a bit cheaper 5. Logitech Z sub woofer is really big, i haven't seen such a big woofer in any other 5. For example the Panasonic SC-PT sub woofer is not playing right when you turn the bass at full, it's simply too much for it even at 3 it's still too much for it, you can set it at 1,2,3,4 but the sad thing is 1,2 is so weak you can bearly hear it, but as soon as you go to 3 or 4 some sounds don't play right and the wind is blowing like hell out of it and it makes alot of distrotion which destroys sounds like some heavy kick drums in the movie I am Legend.

Some owners of the panasonic SC-PT are maybe going to say that it's not true and that the sub is playing great, maybe i would think the same if i wouldn't have the Logitech Z but now that i can compare and you hear this woofer and then the one from Panasonic, it's in a total different class.
