Proposition 65 is a California law that applies to companies selling products in California. Proposition 65 requires warnings if a product contains any listed chemical present above very low levels. Proposition 65 is not a product safety law, but rather a "right-to-know" law. I would definitely recommend this amp. I hooked up a volt meter and a oscilloscope to see where the distortion would start at on AMP when I turn up the gains. I was only able to get 70 watts on all 4 channel clean power not the watts 4ohms they claim. As for the 5th channel it goes well beyond what they claim. No distortion and wattage was higher than advertised.
This amp is a great amp if all you're looking for is to upgrade from a factory setup but becareful on how high you turn up the gains because they will distort and flat line causing you to blow your speakers and subs. I recommend you rent a oscilloscope and find your best gains. This amp really makes them sound amazing. I wish the amp would push cleaner power in the range of watts on the 4 channel as it claims but it only at So I give this this a solid 4 out of 5 stars for it's price point.
Amp does get hot. They say the 5th channel is only watt RMS 4oms, well I got it to watts 4ohms to match my infinity 12" sub. It pounds hard did about a 2 hour road tip running full bore amp never shut off once and absolutely no clipping, it was warm to the touch but not hot. I do have it mounted to wood then to my back seat so it does have good air flow. Hopefully it lasts a few years. I recommend it. Like with all amps make sure you tune it properly with a volt meter or other device and this one will be good to you.
Great sound and value Bought this to power 4 6x8 Kenwoods and 1 12inch Pioneer subwoofer in my F It sounds amazing. I'm utilizing all 5 channels on the amp unbridged. It has plenty of power and I have all 5 channels turned all the way down.
I also have not experienced any of the overheating issues other reviews talked about, probably because I'm not bridging the amp.
The best most expensive amp behind a junk deck or pushing lousy speakers is just going to make "bad" sound louder. I purchased a car a few months back with the worst OEM radio I ever heard but it was a steel of a deal.
At full blast you could have a normal conversation with passengers. I needed the complete system replaced. I have a Harmon Kardon Bluetooth speaker that blasts with incredible clarity so I started there. Next onto the head unit, after searching every pro audio review I could find there was 5 models that were always in the top 10 reviews.
Wow I'm impressed!!!! The AMP is installed under the driver seat and the hardest part was to get the sensor plugs of the seat apart so I could remove the seat Worth every cent This Dawn amp rocks I have it pushing my 4 door speakers plus 6 planet audio super dome tweeters.
I wish we could upload videos so that I could show you that it's worth the little money you spend. I know some people have had a bad experience with these,but I have 2 of these the other is pushing 4 watt rms woofers. Just try it you won't be disappointed.

Sounds amazing with clear hard hitting bass. Trust my advice and buy only one but with the right set up. It is especially great if you want quality deep low bass. As for the Type R 'taking' w. Yes im trying to build a box for a Alpine Type R 12" 4ohm, im going to be wiring it parallel to 2ohm, it will then be ran to a alpine mpamp a 2ohm load rms watts peak.. I thought my subwoofer was starting to die on me. I want it to go all the way across behind the back seat

This amp is really small for wrms at 2 ohms. Not a lot of extra features but the basics are all there to put some thunder in your car. Have not run it that long but seems to work nice so far. I don't care for the trim covers, I just don't like parts to get lost on an amp and they make it harder to adjust it in the car from the top. But that is just a detail issue. I wish they would have made it look finished if they were not on it. With some mountings you can get to the controls easily though; like from the end. Class D technology is nice as it takes less power for the watts it puts out, and makes less heat. I like the basic good looks of the unit, terminals work well and are sturdy, and have not found any negatives with the amp aside from my preference on trim panels.
