Good cleans are always nice to have, but what you really want to know is how it handles the heavy stuff, and the Bugera does not disappoint. Turn the gain up to noon, and it is positively earth-destroying. With so much gain on tap, there are absolutely no problems getting any kind of distorted tone that you could possibly desire. You can go from Bay Area thrash metal to groove metal to death metal, and the Bugera will handle it all with ease. After my Dual Rectifier blew a relay I used my Bugera as my main amp for a few weeks.
