The LK was the kit version of the Scott C and uses tubes for 36 watts a channel. The amp has been re-capped, and is fully serviced. While it is IMO pretty nice to look at, it isn't perfect, the amp has wear near the volume dial which it seems most of the chocolate finish models exhibit , and scratches on the trim of the faceplate.
The Scott will come with a new matched set of JJ output tubes and vintage american preamp tubes if so desired i've got a number of very very nice 12ax7's that could be used in their place for a little more. In the pictures, the amp is in a "beater" cabinet that is coming apart at the seems, but I will include another complete cabinet for the pair see pics. The LT pictured is no longer for sale. This amp was my daily driver until I found a Scott separate pre-amp, and so now I'm willing to part with it.
Many many glowing reviews of the LK out there or it's factory counterpart the c. For what it's worth, these units are what made me a convert to tube amplification - I had and then sold a number of TOTL or very nice units from Marantz , Sansui , Pioneer SX , and Mcintosh MA , but decided to keep the Scott in their place.
I am happy to demo it with a set of Altec c speakers for serious buyers. In an effort to not appear on the show "Hoarders", I will also be listing a few other "spare" stereo items I have in the near future, including a set of Acoustic Research AR-3A speakers, possibly a Heathkit tube power amp and pre-amp and Dynaco mono blocks; hoping to fund, well some other stereo desires I have. Always willing to listen to trades for other audio gear, would currently consider fairly high end turntables or "flea watt" amps as possibilities.

The amplifier has been thoroughly gone through including recap and protection relay added. Both units have been cosmetically gone through faces hand polished back to their beautiful finish. The amplifier has original Eico tubes installed and the sound is so sweet. You would never guess the amp if rated at 14wpc. The liveliness and sound stage on this amp is really hard to compare with anything in its class. Not just because I am selling the amplifier, but in all sincerity the review is spot on in describing how special of an amp this is. See link to Review Above The tuner does work very good, but it is a throw in item with the amp in original electronic condition, the left channel is a little weaker than the right but when the volume control on the tuner is set to full both tuner channels are matched. If using the tuner through the HF amp, the dual volume control is not needed so the control on the tuner being set to max is perfectly fine. Nothing screams audiophile authority like a valve or tube amp. Of course they do but they also sit at the heart of some beautifully sounding hi-fi kit. Such is the current demand that new valves are actually being manufactured again while discovered caches of original valves can fetch high prices.
