The LCD screen does not change or respond to any button presses, but the dock still operates normally otherwise. This is most likely due to a broken screen, but is possible to fix easily.

If the LCD screen is frozen, simply restarting the dock may fix it. To restart the dock, either press the power button or unplug the power cord to turn it off. After waiting for 10 seconds, press the power button again or plug the power cord back into the wall to turn the device on.

The most likely cause is that it isn't plugged in correctly, but the dock may broken and require a part to be removed and installed. If the radio does not produce any sound, then the speakers may need to be replaced. To check if the speakers need to be replaced, set a test alarm using the dock's alarm clock function. If the alarm does not produce any sound, then the speakers need to be replaced.

Try playing a different song. If all the songs are distorted or sound poor, then it may be a problem with the connection or docked device.
