I don't want you to think that I didn't enjoy the conference by the way - most of my criticisms are down to the limitations of traditional events. I mean people complain about meetings but what about the wasted time listening to unprepared speakers giving poor presentations on boring case studies with no interactivity and in ignorance of the twitter stream! It's one reason I'm so keen on the unconferences we run within ConnectingHR. Another interesting event is being piloted next year by HR Magazine. Their HR Talks will have speakers presenting for no more than 10 minutes each and then having a discussion with the audience.
