Curses! Exclusive Spoiler for Innistrad Midnight Hunt

The Standard Rotation looms closer with every passing day. The major meta shift will come first as a consequence of four sets disappearing from Standard. Kumagoro looks at white, blue, and black in Rivals of Ixalan, which may be the last small expansion ever if the Three-and-One Model sticks.

It sounds like clickbait, but it isn't. The Magic Online championship finals was the biggest tournament Jamin ever participated in and he's here to tell you all about his preparation, his decks, and the rest of the tournament. After months without any regional and local way to qualify for a Mythic Championship besides attending MagicFest Events and playing a lot on Magic Online , the local Mythic Championship Qualifiers are finally here!

Andifeated attended the first German-speaking MCQ Weekend, featuring two exciting and big tournaments. However, Arena Pauper is based on Standard legal common cards only so it'ss entirely different. Mark still loves it though, so he's here to break down the common archetypes experienced during these interesting limited time events.

To say that Standard is thriving would be an understatement. With a multitude of fully-viable build-around cards and a deep pool of supporting cards, this Standard might be one of the most diverse Standards in the history of Magic. Brewers all over the Internet have been sharing new and exciting lists every week, it seems, and the card I want to focus on today is a "fixed" version of a card that's banned in Modern: Prime Speaker Vannifar.

Are you already tired of all the Mythic Championship I data out there, yet you still don't know what to play once the new set comes out? Don't let numbers get you dizzy! Here are the best tips taken from MC1 to catch you up on the Standard format after this big tournament. Mythic Championship 1 was one of the best premier tournaments in recent memory, with a wide variety of deck archetypes leaving a mark on the Standard metagame.

Like any major tournament, there were winner and losers, and Hans is here to take the time this week to go over the cards and decks that left an impression. Some were good, some were bad, but they were all meaningful, so check out his findings below! Ravnica Allegiance has finally been released everywhere.

It has been out on Magic Online for a week longer already and Standard has already undergone great changes with the new cards. Today I want to take a look at the biggest shake-ups in the new Standard. PT Guilds of Ravnica may have had a Top 8 filled to the brim with White Aggro, but Hans believes Golgari Midrange still has what it takes to beat any of the format's big hitters.

Since Guilds of Ravnica released, many have tried finding the best combination of cards to win in Standard. Some decks have become frontrunners of the format already but there is a lot left to be explore. Today Jamin introduces two decks you may not have seen before.

Are you ready for rotation? The new Standard will soon kick-off with cards from Guilds of Ravnica. And for those Dimir and Grixis mages that want to keep playing their favorite strategy, here's a recap of their losses and additions to determine which guild will be successful. Despite the clear dominance of a few lists, Standard is a surprisingly diverse format right now and features a handful unsung heroes. One of these is Monoblack Torment, the most straightforward ramp archetype in the meta.

Let's see where it's at now, and where it will go after the October rotation. Imagine not being able to lose the game. Imagine that every time you gain life, you draw extra cards. Card advantage is great, right? I need to exile some cards in my graveyard?

Okay, I can do that. Now my hand? My permanents too? This week, I dive into the bevy of Dominaria spoilers available looking for interesting Standard-worthy cards that could shape the competitive meta in the months to come.

Does Dominaria live up to the hype, or does Magic's most traveled plane come up short of expectations? Read on to find out. It requires teamwork, compromise, and an extensive knowledge of Limited Magic. Christian sits down with a randomized sealed pool to show you the ins and outs of Team Sealed, just in time for the GP in Amsterdam. In this article, I share the results of my testing and the deck that I believe is one of the best at utilizing Azor's Gateway.

Grixis Energy picked up right where Temur Energy left us and has quickly become the new top dog of today's Standard. However, it's hard to tell what the best version may look like or even to know what to expect when playing against the archetype. Data analysis is needed! While others are bothered with gambling on their tribal synergy, you can draft a very powerful and consistent deck a lot people don't know about. This strategy has picked up a lot of attention during the Pro Tour, but it is still very effective on Magic Online or in your local drafts.

Story is the secret to success for the world's top sports stars. Ben Crowe knows how to unlock it.

Hello everyone! The Class cards are a unique type of enchantment that are most reminiscent of the level up cards from Rise of the Eldrazi. They have a static effect or an ETB when they come in, but as you put mana into them, they get better and better. Unlike the Level up cards, you get all the abilities when you Level up the class cards! With all that said, are these class cards gimmicks, good, or gold?

When you hear the word "myth" associated with the Bible, what is the first thought that comes to your mind? Many use the term myth in a pejorative sense to mean that the stories described are not factually true. Others define myth as non-historical tales that contain a moral message. Both of these definitions miss the richness of the term. Mythology is a form of literature that expresses fundamental truths in a way that ordinary discourse is inadequate to describe. The stories that make up the myths are often anchored in some historical reality, but this need not be so. Mythology adds a richness of detail and a concreteness to metaphorical language. Reading Biblical stories as mythology gives me the freedom to understand their underlying meaning in a way I never did when I was taught as a child that these stories were factually true.

Vampires, werewolves… and voodoo curses? The new premier set Innistrad: Midnight Hunt has it all, and is slated for digital release on Sept. This revisit to Innistrad is split up into two parts, with the latter Crimson Vo w coming in November. The chilling art was illustrated by Campbell White , whose work has been featured in dozens of cards in the past few sets such as Adventures in the Forgotten Realms , Strixhaven , and Zendikar Rising. The devilish themes and red overtones are perfect to convey the burning pain that engulfs the accursed player. Unlike regular Auras that target Creatures or other Permanents, Aura Curses target a player itself, which means it gets extra personal between you and your opponent!

With lots of new cards previewed each day, I'm trying to stay as up to date as possible with all the goodies in Ravnica Allegiance. We are still a bit away from having access to the full spoiler, but there are some really exciting cards that have already been revealed. I'm going to discuss the Ravnica Allegiance Mythics we already know about and which stand out the most. I apologize in advance for not talking about Mythics that have not been previewed yet. It seems Wizards has come back around to the idea of three-mana Planeswalkers. It can be tough to find the right power level on a cheap Planeswalker, as we have seen some really strong ones like Liliana, the Last Hope in recent memory, but also some that haven't quite lived up to expectations, like Jace, Cunning Castaway. Dovin, Grand Arbiter makes a lot of sense to me, and I like the design a lot.

Other than that, it's a puzzling card. It requires you to play lots of different Legendary creatures and punishes you for having multiples of.

Neverwhere is the companion novelisation written by English author Neil Gaiman of the television serial Neverwhere , written by Gaiman and devised by Lenny Henry.
