I like I can set it to bring the voice up and out to you instead of where the last sound bar I owned didn't do and I started searching and first bought another brand but it wouldn't hook up to the optical for some reason but did Bluetooth but it didn't have what I wanted the voice coming right out to you to hear what people are saying instead the overly loud music in most shows.
The back speakers aren't to bad it's just you have to set them yourself but that do help a little and the instructions are lacking even when you go to the website they don't give you the full details your looking for so I'm just playing it by ear right now on getting the best sound I can out of it but it's better than what I came from.
So at the price your getting what your paying for and I don't know how much they sell for since I can't find a new one so this must be last yeas model, maybe you can find the price, Over all were liking it sound better especially hearing the center voice now. No regret's of buying so far. I love it!! Transforms my games into new experiences! This thing paired with a PS5, or even other consoles, is phenomenal! Playing games that involve you going underwater are especially awesome cause you feel submerged in the ocean!
Plus, horror games are all the more terrifying because you hear things to your left, right, and behind you. I love it. Awesome with optical cable not so much in Bluetooth Reduced sound volume and quality in Bluetooth connection. Don't buy these speakers I wanted to take a chance on Dolby Atmos, so I started looking at a Vizio set on sale at Sam's, but the Atmos feature was "virtual.
I was very, very disappointed in the LG set. First, I did not receive a remote. Ok, so I ordered one. I would not connect to my iPhone. Sounds like lots of other people had the same problem. The only Android device I had was an old Fire tablet, but I had to set it up so that I could download apps from the Google Play store it was a slow process, but it worked.
I finally got it connected, but the only way I could make it work was to change the input on the soundbar to bluetooth, adjust levels in the app, then restart the TV, reconnect via HDMI ARC, and then check to see if my adjustments were what I wanted. I could not adjust on the fly so I could check what I was adjusting. I definitely didn't like it, but an even worse problem was the sound quality.
The dialogue especially was awful. It sounded very hollow and tinny. And because I couldn't EQ anything, it wasn't getting any better. Combine the terrible sound quality with the connectivity issues, and I was done. Didn't even wait for the remote to get in to start the return process. I decided to go with the Vizio set I was originally looking at at Sam's. I got it set up a lot quicker, and it sounds so so so much better. Maybe it's just more similar to what I'm used to, but I really don't think so.
The dialogue sounds so much more natural. And it's all so much easier to control. I would rather have a remote than an app anyway. I absolutely do not recommend this product, new or renewed. Refurbished looks new!!
Nice value.!! Bought this refurbished but looks and was packaged like it was brand new. More importantly it works that way to. Gets really loud for music and movies sound fantastic. I have no complaints! Awesome Sounds great in my living room. Seems to be working just fine Box arrived in great shape.
Looked to me like the tape had been cut on the box, but none of the components had been touched. Came with instructions, wire for the surround, and optical connection wire. Very simple setup, and we had no problems with the wireless connections at setup, and it is still connecting just fine after a few weeks. For our setup I did have to go buy speaker wire because the provided wire was too short.
The sound is great for the size of the drivers. I'm surprised at the quality of the sound for what this is. Decided to put the sound bar just behind the TV, but we feel it's putting out good sound even with that placement. Mind you, this is not some multi-thousand dollar setup, this is under 1k. If that's what you are looking for, this system is not for you. If you're on a budget, and want a decent sound bar with sub and surround, this is making great sound for the price.

For the cost I was not impressed. Great budget sound system Most people giving less than stellar reviews for this in regards to sound quality were definitely expecting too much out of it.
