It appeared that you all know your stuff, so here goes So, I just ordered an ASW to round out the bottom. Strictly two channel with the single sub for the very low stuff. I will use the speaker level input to the sub.

It has been difficult to determine what those inputs really are. I mean, as a powered sub I assume that they are of high-impedance and only expect the voltage level from the amp speaker terminals no current. It would be great if someone could verify that. Thank you!

Hello again, Sorry about buming this but I am confused. I get my sub this coming weekend and want to have cables ready. The dealer said that I need regular beefy speaker wire from my integrated amp to the speaker-level input of the sub.

But I think that is wrong. A powered sub is not going to place another speaker load on the amp, is it? I want to just use wimpy wire to go the couple of meters to the sub. That's right, right?
