Kefir is gone. You can just use Reaper own Reaverb plug to load impulses, it work fine, or the other choices in this thread. The free Marshall IR set from Redwirez is excellent and there are a bunch of other free cabinet IRs available on the web. I really like the free IRs Le Chatelet has made available.

Another option is to download the beta of Shred 1. The final release should be coming out fairly soon. I bought recabi. If you want a good sound. Try this. Load up a good amp sim. My favorite is HyBrit. I like Marshalls. A cab loader. I like Kefir because it simple and doesnt use much CPU depending on the impulse. If you cant find Kefir to download heres the. Seems like most of the sims out there are for overdrive. For a simple clean sound I like Aradaz crunch. Its suppose to be a Fenderish sim.

I have a fender showman style tube preamp and i like the sound of it going through a SS amp and into a 2x12 cab so I just want to get a similar tone with a speaker sim. Make sure you set it on the clean channel but turn the power amp level up a bit to get the effect of the tube emulation o'clock usually works for my purposes. Check the manual to see the descriptions. He used a fairly recent AC30 for his samples and Vox is using a non-traditional speaker for this amp.

The cabs that come with Shred 1. Those cabs will natively handle the entire Redwirez and Recabinet libraries. I would expect that to be available very soon after the release of Shred 1. Young Cebuano Speakers’ (Im)Proper Use of Selected Lexical Items of Sibuanong Binisaya

With the implementation of the MTB-MLE in the Philippines, there is a question on how mother tongue speakers before the implementation use the language — whether they use the language appropriately or not. As this query is wide-ranging as it deals with the communicative competence of the language users, this study would focus only on the linguistic competence, particularly in the lexical choice of the young Cebuano language users. Hence, the respondents are young Cebuano speakers whose ages ranged from years old. They were asked to choose the appropriate word to use in a certain context, using the lexical items identified by Godin as the most commonly misused Sebuanong Binisaya items. Results revealed that almost one-third of the items were used inappropriately by the respondents, and that when asked why they were not able to use it correctly, majority of them expressed that their parents are not conscious of the appropriate usage of the items, and that the community — including their peers and their teachers — they belong to are not mindful if they would be using the Cebuano language appropriately or not. It is therefore recommended that the continued implementation of the MTB-MLE should be strengthened — materials should be based on the current use of the language, and that teachers should be trained well.
