It is a pity I cannot add an extra row, or two, since there is space on the UI. By the way, better remove the vendor installed Kodi and then install the official version from Google Play Store. As for streaming, it depends on the app as well. TX5 Max has very good wifi.
You can run speed test to see if the speed is okay or not. If the speed test is okay but your app is lagging, it is the problem with the app. In Google Play Kodi says it is already installed. Last edited: May 20, Yes you can uninstall Kodi and install again. Tanix has preinstalled Kodi with some dubious add-ons which may slow down Kodi. As for the download speed indeed it is low at 18Mbps but the upload at 59Mbps is not too bad. Maybe you have too many other devices downloading stuff at the same time.
Worst case you can also get a range extender -- I am using a TP-Link RE AC range extender for my boxes and maker boards when necessary since some of my boxes have lousy wifi performance and some of my maker boards have no wifi. I can get Mbps to Mbs from my range extender gigabit port. Further test results with SuperSU full unroot and Manually delete method. I want to remove root access from my boxes.
So I recovered it to the same stock firmware first, backed up the superuser. SuperSU full unroot does not work. But this time I have backed up superuser. Enough of experiments.
