My yahoo email is not updating the inbox after I upgraded to iOS The junk spam email still works but not the inbox. I have removed it and rebooted several times. I'm sure it has something to do with the changes Apple has made and how Yahoo interacts with the native Apple email app. Several of the Yahoo moderators on the support site reference a Yahoo issue and will "send it to the engineers", whatever that means. I will say, a day after I created the support ticket on the Yahoo Community site, it started working for me again. I have also read where several people have multiple Yahoo accounts where only some of them were not working.

I can receive mail to my Yahoo account. Options are OK or settings. I go to settings and everything looks correct.
There is nowhere to re-enter password. Details and password are accepted when adding account. But I get the same error when trying to send. Same on iPhone and iPad. No problems accessing or using my Yahoo Mail on a computer browser. Have done an incremental update since though. Something must have screwed it up!
Nov 11, AM. Yahoo mail not receiving or sending so I deleted the account and tried to add it again. Now is I just get a message box that yahoo is already installed which it is not.

I had to delete the account, reboot the phone, and add the account again. Then it took. Despite the incoming messages, that iPhone error message about having the wrong user name or password for the yahoo account persists and is maddening. Gmail is fine and this may be the thing that finally pushes me to drop Yahoo.

I only see a link to Change Password. Anyone else having this issue? I was able to work around using the IMAP option which is annoying if you have more than one yahoo email account.
I decided to use the yahoo mail app app store until this issue has been resolved. I was able to add all of my yahoo accounts to the yahoo mail app with the option of adding my gmail accounts. After trying many things and nothing working I find out yahoo up their secruity big time. This is how I was able to fix my issue and hope it works for you. You will be asked to download the Yahoo App from the App Store. Download it once your done u can delete it. You select yes and boom your done! Most messages would render, some wouldn't. Some would say "this message has no content" even though they did and others worked fine.
ALL messages download and render just fine using a browser. My solution is that I turned off notifications for the Apple mail app, moved it out of the dock, and put the yahoo!
