I had a Yamaha A for many years that finally got to a point where fixing it AGAIN wasn't an option, so after much research and reading customer reviews, I bought this Yamaha amp to replace it. I've not taken advantage of the digital options this amp has, but I plan to and I'm sure I'll be happy with the results. Like some of the other reviews I've read, there are some little details that would be nice to have lighted volume control, metal controls on balance, treble and bass controls , but I'm happy that someone finally made an amp specifically for audiophiles and not people who want to watch TV in stereo
