LOG IN. I had the good fortune of finding a pair of D Fuselier speakers at an estate sale. After breaking them in, I found them to be the most natural sounding speakers I have had the pleasure of listening to. They are large three way monitors with Dynaudio drivers.

It actually reminds me of a DQ10 crossover the way it's laid out and the way the inductors are held on with a little piece of Masonite.

I also agree that the extra crossover is an add on by someone else. Here's my guess on what happened. The fuse blew too many times, the owner welded rod in place of the fuse to bypass it, then overdrove them again. Blew the mid and blew some other parts. Decided to add the second choke to the side to limit current.

Does it look like they like power? My experience with multi driver speakers like that is that the more power you give them, the happier they are. Looks like you're getting some good input here on the drivers. No idea where they would have come from, just remember that we used to buy raw drivers from Just Speakers and they carried most of the line.

I've installed those Bextrene mid-woofers in cars as well as small bookshelf speakers, not the best for bass extension but very accurate and good when used with real woofers as was done here.

Couple of things: First, aren't those "white" edges actually just machined surfaces where the bright metal is exposed? I remember that being the case on models that used that particular basket style. Second, if the surround has flattened out it probably is having some effect on the sonics. They are inverted but originally would have had more of a half-round curve.

With age they tend to end up flattened that way. May not make a huge difference if the crossover point is high enough though.

Side note: they made those with magnesium baskets as well, but the part number would have started with M - MHD in this case. The powder that builds up in the grinder can be ignited later by sparks from grinding steel, which leads to a mini-flare burning brightly in the grinder dust shields. The driver selections remind me of Jennings Research.

They made an Elan model used that same type of audax low tweeter dome and audax woofers, but did have peerless upper tweets. Three parts of the Proceedings you are holding in your hands are composed of the contributions which have been presented by students and teachers during the 7 th Annual Conference of Students Week of Doctoral Students, WDS'98 which was held in Prague, Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University from June 9 to June 12, The international meeting was divided into the different symposia in accordance with their topics and consisted of both invited lectures of professors and shorter contributions, which were presented as oral contributions or posters by doctoral students. The total number of lectures and posters was ; 74 of them being submitted for publication in the Proceedings. This number is rather high and thus the Proceedings are divided into three volumes. Part I presents the contribution on Mathematics, Informatics and Didactics 25 contributions. The contributions from the field of Physics of Plasmas and Ionized Media are the main topic of Part II , because 32 contributions have been submitted from this symposium.
