It's a wonderful setup for near field listening. I listened to radiohead, death cab for cutie, mastodon, pink Floyd, skrillex, prodigy, and Orgff's Carmen burana. The he difference was very noticeable except skrillex and prodigy Which makes sense. Pink Floyd and Radiohead was the most noticeable with the tonal quality and spaciousness seriously lost in the mp3 versions. With the rest it was as if parts were just missing.

Your mind is one hell of a thing; even though the speakers are clearly more to the side then they are in front me me, the sound seems as though it is coming from directly behind the monitor. Positional audio is also amazing when in game as well, and I even get the effect that sounds are coming from behind me as much as in front.
Now if you are referring to the size of the speakers, then that is a whole other thing. Compare that to the Audioengine A5's, which have a 5" midrange, and all the sudden it doesn't seem so crazy.
The P's then have 2 6. This also has an interesting effect in that the bass is now also positional thanks to having true stereo, meaning positioning is even further emphasized; contrast this to a single large subwoofer that you have to worry about positioning correctly, finding a way to connect it, needing external power, and having a large box just sitting somewhere taking up space.
In case you are wondering, they are Magnepan mg's and the amplifier is Audio Analogue Puccini. This was a while ago as you can see from the TV and original xbox. Techno Empire is honored to present for sale this piece of recording equipment from legendary Music Studio, Grandmaster Recorders. The base of both speakers have water damage, the wood laminate is peeling up in places and the rear corner of one speaker is missing a 2" chunk of wood. All 6 drivers are in very good condition, 2 of the speakers have their dust caps pushed in on one of the cabinets. Overall, both speaker cabinets are solid and sound despite their exterior wear. All drivers are still working great, and both speakers sound OK, despite having some cosmetic damage.
NOTE: If your remote uses 3 digit setup codes, just drop the leading zero, your remote won't have codes greater than so don't worry about those codes. If you have one of these old systems, there's a good chance it will still work well with CD and DVD players.
