Just as the title says, trying to find the definitive answer to whether the Perfectwave mkII dac with bridge is still fully Roon Ready and Certified. I am probably missing this basic stuff but I just cannot see one good complete definitive answer to this question on the net. Thanks in advance! I am not familiar with the PS Audio line. Have read of many devices being purged from Roon Certified status of late with owners finding a big red X through the device in their settings. They certainly say that the current version with the bridge is Roon Ready, but understand why that may not be enough for a purchase decision.

PerfectWave mkII DAC (PWD)
The Digital Lens takes in any digital audio signal you feed it and regenerates a new and jitter free version sent on to the DAC. The new Lens feature is called NativeX. NativeX is selectable from the front panel or the remote control. This will change everything you think about digital audio. NativeX works on lowering jitter on any selected input on the PWD. This means even highly jittered sources such as an Apple TV or a computer sound card will suddenly have a fog of jitter removed.

Sooo, this time, big changes have somewhat put a halt to my already halted plans due to my school semester. Why the heck not?! So now I have them set up. Both are actually being passed through the Velodyne Sub through the RCA input and output it has, so that I can run the sub, because there is no other way I can run the sub conveniently due to the amplifier. Now, I will be doing a mini review on both, but changing both at the same time is not really the most ideal and objective review to come out right?

PWD2s straight from the factory sucked ass - way too thin sounding. The power transformer looked smaller and I don t know what other changes there were. The kit enables users to perform the upgrade process themselves and when finished the upgraded PerfectWave DAC is sonically identical to the actual DirectStream. The MKII upgrade centres around a completely redesigned digital input board, firmware update more on which in Part 2 , slightly amended remote control and a Critical Link fuse. This new digital input board is where all the new juicy stuff sits. The Digital Lens buffers the incoming data stream and re-clocks it before sending it forward to the DAC.
