Liquidfilledobjects such as vases should not be placed on theequipment. Placing the equipmentOnly use a rack or shelf that is stable and strong enoughto support the weight of this equipment. VentilationDo not block any ventilation openings in the equipment. Do not place the equipment on a bed, sofa, rug orsimilar soft surface, or in an enclosed bookcase orcabinet, since ventilation may be impeded. I've been using this for about three weeks now. The sound is what I like - a little restrained, not 'shouty' or in your face. I have heard clearer and more defined bass in the past but at this price that's a trade off for the very listenable sound.
