The IEM market is booming. For this reason, MajorHifi has put together its personal favorites at every price point. To find our picks for best over-ear headphones of , click here. But the following earbuds have left the most indelible marks in our little brains. Elegantly balanced and versatile, check. But every memorable IEM has at least one unique quality. Naysayers may miss super bassy lows, but fans of classical, acoustic, pop, and pop rock will LOVE this sound. The highs are probably the biggest selling point for the Tia Fourte.

Not that any other part of the frequency range performs less admirably, but the high end in particular just sounds incredibly well-crafted.

Listening to violins on this earphone was similar to hearing them for the first time. But if you want the best IEM out there, this is it. The A may not be the ideal choice for someone looking for their first IEM. There are more versatile or well-rounded and more forgiving options out there. However, amongst audiophiles who already own everything, the A has become a huge seller because nothing else sounds like it.

Incredible resolution. Fast and fluid. A glowing, lustrous quality. Dynamic vocals. This is an IEM that stands out from the crowd. For audiophile who also like to have a bit of fun. The Campfire Solaris combines an incredible sense of clarity with some bass bump, active dynamics and a brilliant soundstage. But for folks looking for an aesthetically gorgeous yet realistic sound that can truly convey a harmonically complex instrument, the Solaris is a fantastic option.

I own one, everyone and their grandmother owns one. To put this sound signature into words would be doing it an injustice. Well, to be honest, so many great things have been written about the Andromeda online, to talk about it further would be redundant.

In terms of listening enjoyment, nothing else comes close. Also be sure to get the Andromeda edition. This year, Campfire has refined the Andromeda to deliver an even more controlled, resonance-free listening experience.

The only other competitor in this price range is the Rai Penta. A beautiful, harmonically complex and natural sound with a little bit of a bass oomph for extra impact.

It also shows off level of separation that beats every other IEM at this price point. These buds have mad skill. The fit is also super easy on the ears. Massive bass and snappy, crystal clear highs make this extremely active and dynamic IEM a huge seller for kids who listen to modern genres. And it remains one of my favorites to this day.

The balance is relatively flat, except for extended lower frequencies, which give it a warm, lush and impactful sound. But more importantly, it provides the most satiating listening experience for under bucks. But the Final Audio E is an exception. It works for all kinds of genres and delivers premium transparency for the price. And it uses a detachable MMCX cable, which means it can be swapped out or replaced when the time comes.

A solid purchase. This an incredibly meaty, full-bodied sound signature. At the same time, it can handle more delicate acoustic instruments with grace.

Rock and hip-hop sound just as fantastic as classical music on these things. The Momentum is a must-have entry level audiophile earphone. Few companies can offer the level of fidelity that Final Audio is able to pull off in the more affordable price ranges.

Regardless of the genre you listen to, the E will deliver and then some. I hate to sound like a broken record, but when it comes to great in-ear sound at an affordable price, Final Audio is hard to beat. The E makes every genre sounds fantastic.

No hint of cheap muddiness. Listening to folk music, guitar strums felt natural with a decent amount of separation and detail. The highs are smooth and fatigue free, lending themselves well to strings and even high pitched brass instruments. Audio Which pair of cans is the best bang for your buck? I believe both models have a lot to offer, especially for their bargain price, and my philosophy is that each headphone has a sound for someone. However, I found the Cowin and the Strauss and Wagner to be very distinct in their timbre, even if both headphones function very similarly.

The E7 Pro is a wireless noise-canceling headphone made by Cowin. This is an upgraded version from a previous model: The E7. I just so happen to have tried the black version of the E7s, which looks identical to the s. They even both use the exact same metallic material on their shells. The Cowins sport a semi-glossier finish compared to the s which consists of a more matte finish.

The E7s looks just more polished in the parts department, as the s seem to have too many plastic parts. They both have plastic parts, but the s feel especially cheap.

Trying on both cans, there was a slight difference in feel. They both sported a snug fit, but the s had a lighter, more weightless feel, especially after multiple listening hours.

The E7s still feel comfortable, but I could feel a lot more pressure on my ears after a significant amount of time had passed. In terms of ANC, both the E7 and s are consistent. The s support 40mm drivers, while the E7 boasts a 45mm driver. The s might need more of a boost even when ANC is enacted. Where the s get a leg up over the E7s though is the fact that Strauss and Wagner use Bluetooth 5.

This gives the s a much grander range, as well as higher bandwidth. The E7s will last you about 30 hours, while the s take another lead with 40 hours of battery life. The buttons of the s are a lot more streamlined.

As I mentioned briefly, the E7s like to box in their sound. This grants more of an opportunity to pay closer attention to the deep lows, but the spacing suffers because of it.

In comparison, the s feature a lot more space between elements. Neither headphone boasts a high-fidelity soundstage, but there is a much more noticeable difference in spatial imaging with the s compared to the E7s. What the E7s have over the s in the lower end of things is the width.

The bass tones expand and feel powerful. This is where the s will succeed. Although they suffer from being a little rumbly at times, the s have a more balanced low-end timbre, while still delivering those deep, punchy textures. Despite having some quite lively mids, I found the E7s to be quite dull here compared to the s. Vocal ranges never get to seem very clear, and sometimes can have a honking consistency.

The s have distinct clarity in their mid-range, and they successfully cut through some of the more harsh lows. This is great for more explosive rock tracks, as distorted guitars have a bit more heft to them.

I can be forgiving of a weaker high end if the bass tones and low mids can make up for it, but the E7s just lose me here. They come off as limiting. Cymbals have that shimmering tonality I look for in my high end, and the notes on a piano glisten. Female vocals in this range also have a soft elegance to them. The s also have the E7s beat in terms of battery life as well, but maybe the overall design of the E7s is more your taste. Both headphones are pretty top-notch considering their price point.

Even though the E7s may be a bit cheaper, I would personally recommend dishing out the extra 50 bucks for the s. Cowin E7 Pro Available at Amazon.

One of the hottest commodities in the consumer audio world is a good pair of wireless, noise-canceling headphones. Wireless headphones had a special task this year in particular. With everything going on in the world today, sometimes canceling out the noise and being taken away into worlds of sound can go a long way for your mental health. I believe these selections were the best at achieving the aims of what the manufacturers were trying to accomplish, and obviously, which ones sounded the best fidelity wise.

Sennheiser has been a hit with its Momentum line of wireless models in the past, and they released a fine pair of headphones this year as well. I enjoyed them a lot, and I really wanted to put them somewhere on this list.
