Was just listening to a cd called James Burton - the Early Years, featuring several of Rick Nelson's Imperial sides, and was pretty taken with them. Looked up the existence of a cd set dedicated to the Imperial years, and couldn't find anything in print. Be interesting to hear details of this release. I only mention it because the guy who put it together says in the liner notes that when getting it together he told many people about it and they told him it would be no good because he only had about five good songs He goes on to say that if he took everybody's favourite five songs it would have been a triple album.
