Hi all. I have this issue on a I have tried both steps and all I get is a click. Any suggestions? I tried all of the above on my V but I got nothing not even a click. Thanks folks- I have a RX-V and it worked just fine. Tried all possible combination of buttons on my V and none of them worked. Yamaha RX-V AV receiver's protection circuity is activated when there is fluctuation in power three 3 consecutive times. This protection mode disables the capability to " turn on" the device.
