I bought this amp because of the super Looow price and was amazed. Amazed that they could produce a Champ clone at this price. It's a copy of the original Champ circuit with a Tone knob, which makes it a Princeton circuit. With this basic time-proven circuit, there is no way you can go wrong.

I know this one's not really a "question" but we get it so often that it needs to be addressed anyway. Many times when a piece of tubed equipment is noisy, the cause is a bad connection between a tube and the socket, not a noisy tube. In fact, the majority of tubes we have returned to us for warranty replacement, are not noisy at all! Remember: Tube sockets are not highly reliable connectors! If the sockets are dirty or not tight enough, or if the pins are slightly "thinner" than your original tubes, or have a little grime on them, it can cause one or more pins be unable to make solid contact. This can result in noise.
When I was 15 years old, I tried using two amplifiers at the same time. There was tons o' noise and it had a honky sound to it. In the years after my ill-fated attempt at a multi-amp setup, I learned a bit more about how two amps can be in phase or out of phase with each other when used at the same time.
