Output Power. Designed specifically for automotive, military and aerospace BCI and other susceptibility EMC testing, this mismatch tolerant Class A amplifier delivers power continuously into the varying match typically associated with this type of testing. The GaAs Class A push pull design ensures a high reliability, low distortion linear performance across the frequency range. This design also ensures that the amplifier will continue to operate at full power even when presented with an open or short circuit at its output.

The use of gallium arsenide technology represents a breakthrough in amplifier design for this frequency range and output power. Previous designs based on silicon technology suffer from relatively poor compression characteristics, low efficiency and sometimes poor reliability.

The unit is powered from a switched mode power supply for high efficiency, high power factor and wide voltage range operation. The unit is air-cooled with integral fans, and is protected against faulty cooling by excess temperature sensing.

A safety interlock connector is provided, which the user can short circuit to ground, to put the amplifier into standby mode. Front panel indicators are provided to indicate over-temperature and rf interlock operation.

Microwave RF VHF UHF Power Amplifier 400 MHz 50W

The Amplifier Research A is a self-contained, broadband unit designed for laboratory applications where instantaneous bandwidth, high gain and moderate power output are required. Utilization of push-pull MOSFET circuitry lowers distortion, improves stability and allows operation into any load impedance without damage. The A, when used with an RF sweep generator, will provide a minimum of watts of swept power. There is a digital display on the front panel to indicate the operate status and fault conditions when an over temperature, power supply, or amplifier fault has occurred. The unit can be returned to operate when the condition has been cleared. The A includes digital control for both local and remote control of the amplifier. The buss interface connector is located on the back panel and positive control of local or remote operation is assured by a keylock on the front panel of the amplifier.

The F is a high linearity RF Driver Amplifier designed to operate within the MHz to MHz frequency band. Utilizing a single 5V power supply and.

Instruments for Industry (IFI) SMIV solid state amplifier MHz – MHz W is a state-of-the-art RF power amplifier that provides outstanding RF.

25 Watts CW, 1 to 400 MHz RF Power Amplifier

The Amplifier Research A RF Amplifier is a self-contained, air-cooled, broadband, completely solid state amplifier designed for applications where instantaneous bandwidth and high gain are required. Push-pull LDMOS circuitry is utilized in all high power stages in the interest of lowering distortion and improving stability. The Model A, when used with an RF sweep generator, will provide a minimum of watts of swept power.

When used with a sweep generator, it provides a minimum of watts of RF power. Like most of AR's amplifiers, this model is ideal for applications that call for instantaneous bandwidth and high gain. A front panel digital display indicates operational status and fault conditions when over-temperature or power supply faults have occurred. The amplifier is protected from RF input overdrive by an RF input leveling circuit that controls the input level to the amplifier's first stage when increased above 0 dBm. This amplifier has been designed for a benchtop, but it can be removed from its cabinet for equipment rack mounting. No tuning, band switching, or adjustments of any kind are required to operate this unit. Power output is in excess of 25 Watts into a Ohm load. Power gain is a minimum 45 dB making the amplifier compatible with drive power levels provided by most commercially available signal generators. It is intended for bench-top use, but may be supplied with in rack mounting kit installed. Input and output connectors are N-type female and are located on the front. Forced-air cooling is by a highly reliable, tube-axial fan mounted at the rear. Protection against excessive heat rise of the amplifier module heatsink is by a temperature-sensing switch that interrupts the gate bias supply to the amplifier devices when activated.

Included is a front panel gain control which permits the operator to conveniently set the desired output level. The RF amplifier stages are protected from over-temperature by removing the DC voltage to them if an over-temperature condition occurs due to cooling blockage or fan failure. The DCP uses a color LCD touch screen display to indicate the operate status and fault conditions if an over-temperature or power supply fault has occurred.
