Tην απόφαση να τεθεί πειραματικά σε δράση, το αμέσως ερχόμενο χρονικό διάστημα, ένα νέο πανίσχυρο αμυντικό όπλο, το οποίο θα χρησιμοποιεί την τεχνολογία των ακτινών laser, για να καταρρίπτει εχθρικούς στόχους, ανακοίνωσε ο Ισραηλινός πρωθυπουργός, Ναφτάλι Μπένετ, κατά τη διάρκεια ομιλίας του, στο ετήσιο συνέδριο του Ινστιτούτου Μελετών για την Εθνική Ασφάλεια.
Αυτό αναφέρουν ελληνικά και ξένα μέσα ενημέρωσης, τονίζοντας ότι ο Ισραηλινός πρωθυπουργός, είπε πως σύντομα, εντός ενός έτους, αυτό το υπερσύγχρονο σύστημα laser, θα ενσωματωθεί επιχειρησιακά μαζί με τα υπόλοιπα οπλικά συστήματα, του Ισραήλ, ώστε να αυξήσει την εναέρια άμυνα της χώρας, που απειλείται διαρκώς από ρουκέτες της Χαμάς αλλά και από τα πυραυλικά συστήματα και UAV, του Ιράν.

The decision to begin experiments, in the near future, of a powerful new defense weapon, which will use laser technology to shoot down enemy targets, announced by Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett during his speech, at the annual conference of the Institute for National Security Studies.
Greek and foreign media report this, emphasizing that the Israeli Prime Minister said that soon, within a year, this state-of-the-art laser system will be integrated operationally with the rest of Israel's weapons systems, in order to increase the country's air defense, which is constantly threatened by Hamas rockets but also by Iran's missile systems and UAVs.
