1930's Globe Tube Amp: Input Jack Install and First Impressions

Published
This is a custom designed Vacuum Tube Amp built using some 1930's vintage globe style tubes.

This video is about installing the input jacks and volume control, shielded wiring and the first listening impressions of these almost 100 year old tubes!

I'm using a super nice chassis on this build and am taking my time!

The 47 output tube is a direct heated pentode and will be complimented by various other globe type tubes from the same era. I plan on using modern design topology, mixed with these 90 year old tubes, to get a very unique looking and sounding design!
